On a quest to future proof our creative students

Dr. Jo Samuel is an educator, interactive artist and animator. She is course director and senior lecturer on the BA (Hons) Media Production at Canterbury Christ Church University specialising in 3D animation, interactive and augmented reality art.​ She has previously worked for companies Pixel Circus Ltd and Beeping Bush Ltd as an animator and video editor and has had a number of solo interactive art exhibitions.

This podcast is part of a research project where Jo is investigating the impact of AI on the creative industries, what this means for entry level jobs and what we can do to best prepare our students for a career in the ever evolving creative industry.
